The Backstory
Here's yet another reason we love working with Bokeh Development. In 2017, Bokeh Development came to us with a grand vision. A vision that needed a name, a logo, a brand and more. A vision that would eventually become something amazing.
Utilizing an established structure and additional shipping containers to be used as buildings, the corner of Central and Volutsia in Wichita, Kansas houses retail shops, restaurants and offices. With a focus on an outdoor food court, fire pit and seating area, a sense of community and belonging is created.

Branding
Naming Logo Secondary MarkNaming something, anything – a person, product, building – takes research and a LOT of thought. REVOLUTSIA is the Russian word for REVOLUTION: a fundamental change in the way of thinking about or visualizing something: a change of paradigm. (It’s also located on the corner of Central and VOLUTSIA.)
It was important to the client that we include colors in the logo that would be utilized in the actual structure. Using those colors and playing upon the uniqueness of the property, we created this radical logo.
We love this. While not to be locked up with the logo, the secondary mark has a unique – one might say revolutionary – purpose. Comprised of colors AND elements from the development, the R has a lot of freedom to do what it pleases.

And More!
We worked with the client and sign company to create graphics that were eye-catching. The name, REVOLUTSIA, on the side of the shipping container seems to rise above all else on Central.
