The Backstory
Orion Education and Training is a service agency located in Clearwater, Kansas. Orion furnishes more efficient and/or economical services to maximize education opportunities for Kansas. They also provide services to the corporate sector as well. There are only a handful of other like agencies in the state of Kansas.
One of the things we cherish about our job is the opportunity to expand our horizon by learning about different types of clients and industries. Orion has certainly introduced us to new realms, and we have enjoyed the opportunity to partner with them.

Branding
Core Board New Name Logo & Colors GuideIn order to do a complete rebrand, we work with the client to complete a number of brand surveys. We then evaluate the results and produce a brand board. This process helps us uncover the core values, mission and purpose of the client.
South Central Kansas Education Service Center or SCKESC, came to us initially to assist in a new name and brand. Their previous name was a mouthful. It was hard to say and easy to forget. We brainstormed with them and landed on Orion.
When a new name is developed for a client, logo design is the next step. Our design team created a professional, collegiate-type logo with a wise, old mark. The new colors are quite regal.
A brand guide was developed to display how best to use the logo, colors, fonts and messaging. We even included collateral samples to show how elements should be utilized.
