Website / SEO
You already know that a website is essential to any business or organization. It practically establishes credibility. Having a website that is up-to-date is also critical. If you aren’t "with the times" on your website — where else is your company lacking? Beyond that, a website should be eye-pleasing. It should be easy to maneuver. The url address should be understandable. When it’s Googled… is it listed? It’s okay. Breathe. We got this.
Our approach to WEB DESIGN
The first thing we do is determine the purpose. Who is your intended audience? What are the most important things to communicate on your website? A site map is created to determine where these things will live on your site. In the next stage, it’s time to put together the necessary items. What content do you have or what will need to be written (did we mention we can write the copy for your site with a little direction)? What images do you have/need/want? Then we move to design.
We start with a simple wireframe, laying out the placement and basic functionality of your site. Then — BOOM! — we add the pretty stuff. When the look has been approved by the client, we move to development where we give attention to detail on the functionality of your site as well as making sure your website is mobile-friendly. Our clients are involved throughout the entire process. Sometimes surprises are nice. When it comes to web design, there should be no surprises. The final stage — after testing — is ALL SYSTEMS ARE GO! Your site is launched into the world.
But… as stated, “if you build it, they will come” doesn’t just happen. That’s where SEO— search engine optimization— comes into play. Simply put, we’ll use SEO to bring more visitors to your site. We can optimize your website by using proper image descriptions and targeted keywords, and we have a few other magic tricks up our sleeves. We’ll utilize other SEO practices, continue to review your website stats and tweak our approach to SEO as needed in order to reach more people. If your first response is… ”uhhhhhh…” let’s meet and we can help clear things up!
