Lifeboat Creative, originally J2 Design Solutions, started in a small apartment back in 2002. With a whopping two clients and a need to grow we set out on an adventure that has now spanned nearly a decade. Our client base has grown to over 70 clients from coast to coast and the crew has grown to 7, all with their own unique talents and skills. We have found our groove and absolutely love what we do! Jen started drawing on her dolls faces as a little girl and in high school her parents let her paint her masterpiece on her bedroom walls. Though she never took an actual art class (being creative was considered more of a "fun hobby") - it became her release.

After graduating from the University of Texas at Austin, she came to Wichita and quickly realized that art or graphic design could be something serious. It could be her career! She is currently Art Director at Lifeboat Creative and can do anything from print to video to web design.

Favorite part of her job: She likes to make pretty things!

Kyle lives and breathes programming. Growing up in the 90s, he doesn't know a world without the internet. He's a true technology kid, mastering the Gameboy at a young age and snuggling up to his Tamagotchi at night. HTML is his first language, English his second - Kyle was meant to be a programmer and we're thrilled he's part of the Lifeboat Creative team.

Favorite part of his job: Being around like-minded people.

As a young girl, Allie spent her days scribbling through coloring books. In her teens, the family telephone was attached to her ear, keeping her connected to friends and the drama of the school day. Following high school, Allie enrolled in graphic design classes to accompany her Communications degree at Newman University. When she wasn't studying, she dedicated every spare moment to obsessing over her Facebook page.

And OMG when Twitter came along, she officially became a social media FANATIC. Who knew these passions could mould into her perfect job? Allie is now a Social Media guru/Graphic Designer at Lifeboat Creative and continues to love the uniqueness of every project and the process it takes to reach a solution.

Favorite part of her job: The teamwork aspect of Lifeboat Creative. Everyone plays their own part yet works together for a final product we can all be proud of.

As a child Mike always loved to color, draw and create. Throughout school he was always involved in art and design, or anything that he could show his creativity, whether it was painting, drawing or ceramics. In high school, Mike was exposed to graphic design and soon realized it was his destiny - when he grew up he would be a graphic designer.

Mike studied Visual Communication at Hutchinson Community College where he obtained a good grasp on how much impact art and design has in everyday life. Since then he has been honing his skills as a designer and expanding his knowledge of design in this ever changing visual world.

Mike is still working on the growing up part but has found a good fit as a Graphic Designer with Lifeboat Creative.

Favorite part of his job: Being able to express his creativity for the benefit of others.
